Tutor Eau Claire Donates Helpful Hints for Reading to Richland Library

Last summer the Richland Library Children’s Room had so many requests for its reference copy of Helpful Hints for Reading that Tutor Eau Claire donated 70 additional copies to make sure each branch had at least four copies for circulation. The Richland Library Foundation placed a bookplate in each copy acknowledging Tutor Eau Claire’s gift. We appreciate this honor and applaud Richland Library’s concern for struggling/dyslexic readers.

The library also provides a link to Tutor Eau Claire’s web site at the following URL:

Helpful Hints for Reading was commissioned by the Academy of Columbia of the Central Carolina Community Foundation, and is co-authored by Orton-Gillingham-trained tutors Tracey Ely and Georgia Brennecke under the supervision of Janet Jones, Fellow/AOGPE.
